I’m generally not a fan of remixes; they just tend to make songs longer and more repetitive whilst stripping the track of much of what made it great in the first place. So for me to feature a remix on here means that someone must have done a very good job. The ‘someone’ in question is London based electro-pop duo I Am A Camera and they have given Lana Del Rey’s ‘Born To Die’ a whole new lease of life. With a pounding drum beat and a whole heap of synths they’ve given the song a truly eerie feel that allow the lyrics to take on a more menacing dimension.
